Kent Hickam

Oregon attorney Kent Hickam is the founder and principal lawyer at Kent Hickam, P.C., practicing civil and criminal trial law, family law and estate planning from his Albany law office. With over four decades of legal experience, Mr. Hickam has tried hundreds of cases in the Oregon trial courts and has appeared before the Oregon Supreme Court. His civil trial experience includes personal injury lawsuits, evictions, foreclosures, and estate disputes. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Hickam handles felonies and misdemeanors, as well as probation violations and other post-adjudication matters. Mr. Hickam maintains strong ties to Oregon and the Albany community where he was born and raised. He earned his Juris Doctorate law degree from Willamette University in Salem and is a former member of the Albany City Council. He served as Chairman of the Linn County Commission on Children and Families and is a current member of the Linn County Public Safety Coordinating Council. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Oregon and is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association and the Linn-Benton Bar Association.
